NYS Rugby AGM Proxy Announcement
In advance of the Annual General Meeting, to be held Saturday, November 13, 2010, NYS Rugby Member clubs should be aware of the following:
By virtue of a 7-0 vote, the following action was taken by the NYS Rugby Board of Directors:
At the Annual General Meeting of the NYS Rugby Conference, to be held this year on Saturday, November 13, 2010, proxy votes will not be allowed.
Each member club will be allowed one (1) vote, to be cast by (either):
1) one of its club members present at the meeting, or
2) an appointed representative who must be present at the meeting to vote
One person, one vote.
To be clear, clubs with teams that participate at multiple levels (divisions) only receive one vote. Men’s and women’s clubs would get one vote each.
Every member club is requested to have a representative at this meeting.
Clubs are required to RSVP with the name of its representative no later than Friday, Nov. 12, to J.C. Whipple, Executive Director, at executive@nysrugby.org.
