2011 NYS Rugby Proposed Budget - AGM

The New York State Rugby Conference will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, November 13, at the Doubletree Hotel on Carrier Circle in Syracuse. The meeting will begin at noon.

At this meeting, the Treasurer will present the 2011 Proposed Budget for approval by the membership.

For the first time in more than a decade, the 2011 Budget proposes a general dues increase, for all classes of NYS Rugby members. The 2011 club dues will be as follows (figures within the parentheses are the current dues):
* Collegiate Clubs - $1,000 ($850)
* Senior Clubs- $800 ($650)
* Youth Clubs - $500 ($450)#
* Additional Sides (playing in separate divisions [at all levels]) - $300 per side ($200)
Does not apply to “B” side matches that do not lead to a Conference Championship
* Associate Members - $300 ($200)

# The proposal projects a lower dues increase for Youth clubs because this class has seen two dues increases since this membership class was established in 2004.

It is imperative that all members are represented at this meeting in order to inform the debate and ensure that this budget is representative of the members needs.
