NRU Soliciting Bids to Host College Championships

The Northeast Rugby Union has extended its proposal period to host the 2010 NRU College Championships. The Championships will be held on November 13th and 14th. Host bids are due NO later than September 22, 2010 with selections being made by September 29, 2010. Bid proposals should include the following:

* Map of tournament site
* Local hotel information
* Number of fields available (minimum of three fields required)
* Warm-up space availability
* Confirmation of required field restraints / goal pads / flags
* Parking availability
* Rest Room facilities confirmation
* Security (necessary on college campus)
* EMT (confirmation)
* Tent for NRU Rugby officials / referees
* Concession proposals
* Previous hosting experience (LAU championships, tournaments, NRU events, etc.)
* Sponsorship / revenue plans
* Plans for local host PR / Media exposure
* Any other pertinent information
