Women's U19 Select Side Captures Tournament Title

NYS Rugby's Women’s U19 Select Side captured the Northeast U19 All-StarTournament this past weekend in Rutland, VT. NYS went undefeated on the weekend, pitching shutouts in both games.

NYS Rugby topped Capital District (NY), 10-0, in the opening game, and then came back for a 22-0 decision over Met NY in its second game.

"I am very proud of the girls," said Greg Fehrman, Head Coach. "They did a great job playing team defense and taking the opportunity to strike when it was there. The work our conference has put in with our Youth division is making huge strides and was evident in our quality play this weekend."
