NYS Women’s U19 Tryouts Scheduled for Saturday

  The NYSRC Women’s U19 Select Side tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, May 15, at Delaware Park in Buffalo. Tryouts will run from 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Players will be evaluated on basic skills, conditioning and overall knowledge of the game of rugby. There is a $10 tryout fee for players.

The team will assemble twice this year. The first assembly will be the weekend of June 12th-13th in Rultand, Vermont against select side teams from the MET-NY and NERFU Conferences.

Individuals wishing to tryout for the team must have been 19 years old on January 1, 2010, and in good standing with the LAU and USA Rugby. Individuals not able to make the tryout will receive consideration with a recommendation from their coach.
