Team to compete in LAU Challenge Cup Tournament in Pittsburgh

NYS Boy's All Stars Announced

The New York State Rugby Conference has announced it's 2009 Boys U19 / U17 All-Stars.

Players were selected after a series of open tryouts, scouting league matches and on coaches recommendations. "The primary goal for this year was to select a competitive squad. Secondly we wanted to expand our player pool for next year and beyond" said first year NYSRC U19 Head Coach Mark Kielbasa.

The team will compete June 20-21 at the LAU Challenge Cup tournament in Pittsburgh, PA. Selected players need to contact team manager Fred Bressette (f.j.bressette@roadrunner.com) right away and provide the following information:
* Phone number
* email
* Availability for fitness testing Tuesday, June 16th at Vandetta Stadium in Batavia
* Availability for June 20-21. We will be traveling Saturday morning and staying in Pittsburgh Saturday night. Players will be returning Sunday evening.
