NYS Rugby Announces 2009 Women’s U19 All Stars

SYRACUSE -- NYS Rugby has announced its 2009 Women's U19 All-Stars. The team will compete June 13-14 at the Territorial All-Star Championships in Albany, and face the Ontario U-17 All-Stars in July in Rochester.

Amber Curtis (Penn State Univ.) and Lauren O'Brien (Hamburg High School) have been named the team's co-captains.

Team selections were based on playing experience, recommendations from referee’s and coaches, and tryouts.
