Change of Venue for the NYS U-19 Tryouts

There has been a change of venue for the NYSRC Women’s U-19 Tryouts. The tryouts will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at the CY Farms/Batavia Turf Farms.

Those interested must meet the following requirements:
* Must have been 19 years of age on January 1, 2009
* Must be CIPP registered with USA Rugby
* Must be able to attend assemblies on June 13th and 14th in Albany and July 17th in Rochester

Although tryouts are not required, they are highly recommended. Players will be observed performing basic rugby skills, timed in the 40m dash and 300m shuttle, and game situations.

Please email Greg Fehrman at gfehrman@cscosc.com if you plan on attending.

All planned attendees will be emailed paperwork to be filled out including a waiver that will need to be signed by a parent or guardian if under 18. There will be a $10 processing fee for each attendee. Any questions feel free to contact Greg at the above email.

In the event you cannot attend the tryouts, players may be selected to the team on the recommendation of a coach, conference administrator, or referee.

Directions:

NYS Thruway to Batavia turn right on Route 98. Go about two miles to West Saille Drive. (it is the first road you will come to on the right. Stay on West Saille drive until it ends at Bank Street. Directly across the street you will see a block building. This is CY Farms/Batavia Turf Farms. The field is to the right of the block building, parallel to Bank Street. Players are asked to park behind the building next to the field.
