Buffalo Rugby Club Summer 7s

The Buffalo Rugby Club invites all interested rugby players in Western New York to participate in our Summer 7s program. The combination of our Midwest Division I and our NYS Division III sides provides a nice mixture of competitive and social 7s appropriate for all ages and abilities.

Training will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6:30 to 8:30 PM) from June 3 to July 24, 2008. The program is built upon our strong tradition of national and international qualifying 7s players and coaches.

Each practice will consist of honing basic rugby skills and learning the open style of 7s rugby within a practice structure of free flowing action.

We will attend about three 7s tournaments in the area, including the Buffalo 7s on June 28th. We will also have a chance to scrimmage the Western NY Empire State Games 7s team, as their practices will coincide with ours.

Thursday nights are especially fun because of our "family BBQ" tradition. All are welcome!
