BUFFALO, NY -- NYS Rugby announced the field for the 2008 Boys & Girls U19 Championships this afternoon. The semifinals will be held on Friday, May 23, at the home site of the higher seed, while the Championship will be held on Saturday, May 24, at Delaware Park in Buffalo. Buffalo Rugby Club will serve as the site host of this year's Championships.

The girls semifinals feature Orchard Park at Fairport and City Honors at Kenmore West. The boys semifinals pit Orchard Park against Fairport and McQuaid taking on Kenmore West. All four games kickoff at 6:30 p.m.
The Girls Championship game will be played at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, followed by the Boys Championship at 3:00 p.m.

The girls championship will kickoff at 1:00 p.m., followed by the boys championship at 3:00 p.m. Food, programs and rugby-related merchandise will be available on-site.

Delaware Park, located in the heart of Buffalo, is considered a jewel of the city. Its openness and beauty will provide a majestic backdrop for the Championships.

NYS Rugby serves as the organizing body for over 100 rugby clubs at the men's, women's, collegiate and high school levels. There are 35 member clubs at the high school level, with boys and girls competing in Division I, Division II and junior varsity.
