NRU Announces Men's College All Star Coach

The Northeast Rugby Union Board of Directors has unanimously selected Mike Hodgins as its new Men’s College All-Star Coach.

An assistant on the NRU squad the past two years, Hodgins has also been the head coach of the NY State Men’s College All-Stars the past three seasons. Mike is a licensed IRB & USA Coaching Course Leader, and is a UK 1st Sports Rugby Union Level 3 certified coach. Mike has also recently served as a USA U18 National team selection camp staff coach.

“Mike brings a wealth of experience to the position.” said NRU VP of Colleges Fred Bressette. “He’s incredibly organized, and has submitted a very detailed plan for the program for the next two years.”

Hodgins will serve as head coach thru the 2009 season.
