SYRACUSE, NY -- NYS Rugby has announced the format for the Collegiate Women's Playoffs. The structure is as follows:

Division I
NYS gets two (2) seeds out of eight (8)

10/20/2007 - NYS Semifinals
#4 @ #1
#3 @ #2
#5 @ #1 B-side (exhibition match)

10/27/2007 - NYS Rugby Championship
Winner Semifinal #1 vs. Winner Semifinal #2
Winner earns NYS #1; Runner-up earns NYS #2

11/03/2007 - NRU Quarterfinals at home of higher seed

11/10-11/2007 - NRU Final Four (Site TBD)


Division II
NYS gets one (1) seed of four (4) for NRU playoffs

10/27/2003 - NYS Semifinals
West #2 @ East #1
East #2 @ West #1

11/03/2007 - NYS Rugby Championship
Winner Semifinal #1 vs. Winner Semifinal #2
Winner earns NYS seed

11/10 - 11/11 - NRU Final Four (Site TBD)


Division III
NYS gets one (1) seed to National Championship Qualifier

10/27/2007 - NYS Semifinals
West #2 at East #1
East #2 at West #1

11/03/2007 - NYSRC Championships
Winner of Semifinal #1 vs. Winner Semifinal #2

11/17-18/2007 - National DIII Championship in Stonehill College in Easton, MA
