NYS Rugby Announces Collegiate Men's Playoffs

SYRACUSE, NY -- NYS Rugby has announced the format for the Collegiate Men's Playoffs. The structure is as follows:

Division I
Top three (3) teams determined by final league standings and earn NYS seeds 1-3. In NRU playoffs, NYS gets three (3) seeds out of eight (8).

11/03/2007 - NRU Quarterfinals at home of higher seed

11/10/2007 - NRU Final Four (Site TBD)


Division II
NYS gets two (2) seeds of eight (8) for NRU playoffs.

10/27/2003 - NYS Rugby Championship - West #1 vs. East #1. Winner earns NYS #1, loser earns NYS #2

11/03/2007 - NRU Quarterfinals at home of higher seed

11/10/2007 - NRU Final Four (Site TBD)


Division III
NYS gets one (1) seed to National Championship Qualifier

10/27/2007 - NYSRC Semifinals
West #2 at East #1
East #2 at West #1

11/03/2007 - NYSRC Championships
Winner of Semifinal 1 vs. Winner Semifinal 2

11/10/2007 - NYSRC/Met NY National Championship Qualifier at home of NYS #1. Winner advances to unofficial National DIII Championship in Spring 2008.
