Game Communication
To all NYS Rugby member clubs -
As a reminder, we continue to promote communication between the home and visiting teams and the referees for all NYS Rugby contests.
It is the responsibility of the home team to confirm with the referee, no later than the Sunday prior to the game, the site, time and any additional information. This is to be electronically and should include a CC: to the visiting club as well.
Should the referee not be confirmed by the stated time (with return contact), he or she is eligible to be assigned to another contest.
Active communication prior to a contest assists everyone involved. As always, we ask the clubs be proactive in their organization and execution of their schedule.
