At the conclusion of Saturday's games, 35-40 players will be selected for a training session to be held Sunday, April 29. The 2007 NYS team will be selected from that group and will play a warm-up game against the Syracuse Chargers on Sunday, May 6, in Syracuse.
Players selected for the 2007 NYS All-Star team will also play in the NRU Cup tournament Saturday, May 12, against teams from New England and Met NY in Mystic River, MA. Selected players from the NRU tournament will be invited to the NRU tryouts. It is recommended that any player wishing to tryout for the NRU team participate in the NYS regional competition.
