2006 NYS Rugby Annual General Meeting
To all NYS Rugby member clubs -
The 2006 NYS Rugby Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the University of Rochester's (River Campus) Hoyt Hall. The meeting will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m.
Those clubs which have representation at the meeting will have their 2007 USA Rugby team CIPP covered by NYS Rugby.
This year's AGM is being held in conjunction with the First Annual O.N.E. Rugby Festival. The festival, which runs Nov. 17-18, features coaching and referee clinics, player clinics for youth, collegiate and senior players, and matches featuring the NRU and Ontario All Stars.

NYS Rugby would like to encourage participation by as many members as possible. Clubs having representation at the meeting will have their 2007 Club CIPP (USA Rugby) paid for by NYS Rugby.
In an effort to promote interest in serving on the board and in the interest of having a competitive election process, the board positions are listed below. Anyone who is a member of a member club in good standing is eligible for board service. They must be nominated and seconded from the floor at the AGM. PRESIDENT
The President shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Conference. The President shall have the general charge of the business, affairs, and property of the Conference. The President shall preside at meetings of the members, of the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee and may sign all contracts or instruments authorized by the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee.
The incumbent, Mike Hodgins from Batavia, NY, is seeking another term.
VICE PRESIDENTS
Each Vice President shall represent the demographic constituency for which the Vice President is elected. The primary responsibility of the VP's is to be the liaison between their constituency and the NYSRC Board and participate in all regular board business and activities. In addition they assist in the development of schedules and the competitive league structure.
V.P. Senior Men - The incumbent, Oscar Prue from Syracuse, NY, is seeking another term.
V.P. Collegiate Men - The incumbent, Fred Bressette from Buffalo, NY, is seeking another term.
V.P. Women - The incumbent, Kristin Huber from Buffalo, NY, is seeking another term.
V.P. Youth - The incumbent, Joe Kirsch from Rochester, NY, is seeking another term.
V.P. At Large - The incumbent, Pat McGuire from Felts Mills, NY, is seeking another term.
SECRETARY
The Secretary shall: Have custody of the records and documents of the Conference, have custody of the seal of the Conference and affix such seal to any contract or other instrument when so authorized or directed and keep all minutes of the meetings of the members, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
The incumbent, Bruce Church, is seeking another term.
TREASURER
The Treasurer shall have care and custody of the funds and securities and of the financial records of the Conference; deposit all monies received by him/her for the Conference in depositories as designated by the Board of Directors; have charge of the disbursement of the funds of the Conference, keep correct and complete records of account of the Conference, and render a report of the financial condition of the Conference to the Board of Directors when requested.
The incumbent is Tom Rienzo from Troy, NY, is seeking another term.
