2006 Playoffs - Qualifier Procedure

To all NYS Rugby member clubs -

Please find below the procedure for determining 2006 Playoff qualifiers:

1. Standings Points Earned (based on wins, ties, bonus points, meeting, etc.)

If two or more teams are tied for a playoff poistion, the following tiebreakers will be implemented (in order):
a) Number of Wins
b) Result of Head-to-Head play
c) Head-to-Head net points
d) Head-to-Head points scored
e) Total Bonus Points earned


Breakdown of Divisional qualifiers (Teams):
Men's Club Men Division III : 1-4
Men's Collegiate Division I: 1-4
Men's Collegiate Division II: East 1-2 / West 1-2
Men's Collegiate Division III: East 1-2 / West 1-2
Women's Collegiate Division I: 1-4
Women's Collegiate Division II: East 1-2 / West 1-2
Women's Collegiate Division III: East 1-2 / West 1-2
