Opening Weekend of Postseason Begins Oct. 21
Men's and Women's Collegiate Playoffs Schedule
SYRACUSE, NY -- NYS Rugby has announced the schedule for the Men's and Women's College Playoffs. The post-season begins on Oct. 21 for four of the six divisions - below is the playoff field for those divisions:
Division II (2 NRU Seeds)
Game 1: Union (East #2) at Geneseo (West #1)
10.21 @ 1:00 p.m.
Game 2: Fredonia or St. Bonas (West #2) at Albany (East #1)
10.21 @ 1:00 p.m.
Game 3: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
10.28 @ St. Lawrence
Winner NYS #1 seed
Game 4: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2
10.28 @ St. Lawrence
NYS #2 seed is awarded as follows:
Loser of Game 3 and Winner of Game 4 will both have 1-1 records in the playoffs. The tiebreak procedure will be:
1) Tied teams played each other in the playoffs, Winner claims #2 seed.
2) Tied teams did not play each in the playoffs, but played during the regular season, the winner of the regular season match claims the #2 seed.
3) Tied teams have not played each other, the seed will be determined by the lowest point differential vs. #1 seed during the playoffs.

Game 1: St. Lawrence (East #2) at Niagara (West #1)

Game 2: Hamilton (West #2) at Paul Smiths (East #1)

Division I (2 NRU seeds)
Game 1: #4 Binghamton at #1 Cornell
10.21 @ 11:00 a.m.
Game 2: #3 Syracuse at #2 Buffalo
10.21 @ 11:00 a.m.
Game 3: Winner Game 1 v. Winner Game 2
10.28 @ St. Lawrence
Winner receives NYS #1 / Loser Receives NYS #2

Game 1: Oswego (East #2) at St. Bonaventure (West #1)

Game 2: Canisius (West #2) at Hamilton (East #1)
