Bring the Prestigious Tournament to Your Club's Site

NYS Rugby is soliciting bids to host the 2006 Collegiate Championships. One of the highlights each year for NYS Rugby, this tournament proves to be a weekend of outstanding rugby for men's and women's collegiate sides.

Now is your club's chance to bring this prestigious event to your home site! The NYS Rugby Collegiate Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 28-29. Host bids are due by Friday, Sept. 8. Bid proposals should include the following:

* Map of tournament site
* Number of fields available (minimum of three fields required)
* Confirmation of required field restraints / goal pads / flags
* Parking availablity
* Rest Room facility confirmation
* Security (necessary on college campus)
* EMT (confirmation)
* Tent for NYS Rugby
* Concession proposals
* Plans for local host PR / Media exposure (work with NYS Rugby) * Youth rugby exposure (work with NYS Rugby)
* Any other pertinent information

NYS Rugby assists host club in covering expenses associated with the Collegiate Championship
