Killourhy and Kohanski Named to Women's U19 National Team

SYRACUSE, NY --Christina Killourhy (Cornell) and Tess Kohanski (Syracuse) have been named to the U.S. U19 Women's National Rugby Team. The announcement was made by USA Rugby head coach Bryn Chivers.

Killourhy and Kohanski will take part in training session with the National Team from June 9-15, based at the Olympic Training Center in Boulder, CO. The U19 Womenís National Team will then play two games as part of the U23 National All-Star Championships, June 9-11.

The National All-Star Championship will be the largest women's representative level event ever held in the United States. Seven Senior Territorial Select Sides, seven U23 Territorial Select Sides, Rugby Canada U19 Women, Rugby Canada U23 Women, Rugby Canada Senior Women, USA Rugby Senior Women and the USA Rugby U19 Women will all participate.

Following the All-Star competition, the American side will then square off with the U19 Canadian National Team in two international matches on June 13 and June 15 in Boulder, CO.
