NYS Rugby seeks bids to host the 2006 Collegiate Upstates Tournament. One of the highlights each year for NYS Rugby, this tournament proves to be a great day of rugby for men's and women's collegiate sides.
Now is your club's chance to bring this prestigious event to your home site! Host bids are due by Thursday, Jan. 26.
Upstates bid proposals should include:
* Map of tournament site
* Number of fields available (minimum of four fields)
* Confirmation of required field restraints / goal pads / flags
* Parking available
* Rest Room facility confirmation
* Security (if necessary)
* EMT (confirmation)
* Tent for NYS Rugby needs
* Concession proposals
* Plans for local host PR / Media exposure; youth rugby exposure
* Any other pertinent information
NYS Rugby assists host club in covering expenses associated with the Upstates Tournament.
All bids are due to J.C. Whipple, NYS Rugby Executive Director, by Thursday, Jan. 26.
