NYS Rugby Score Reporting Procedures
A reminder on score-reporting procedures for all NYS Rugby regular-season contests:
* It is the responsibility of the WINNING TEAM to report the score. We have had several instances this season where the home team, despite losing, has reported the score. This effects the standings and the results on the website, which are automated off the reporting codes.
WINNING TEAM reports the score - no matter where the game is played.
* Each team is assigned a TIN (Team Identification Number). It is the responsibility of the WINNING TEAM to report the score on the NYS Rugby website using their TIN. If you do not have your TIN, please contact J.C. Whipple at jcwhip4@gmail.com.
* Scores are to be reported by 6 p.m. SUNDAY to the NYS Rugby website. If the WINNING TEAM fails to report the score by 6 p.m. SUNDAY, the team receives a one (1) point deduction in the standings.
