Men's Collegiate Playoffs First Round - Oct 12, 2002
The top four teams from the the Premier Division I and the top two from each of the east and west divisions of the Empire Division II and Excelsior Division III start the playoffs at the home of the higher seed.

Premier #4 @ #1, #3 @ #2

Empire East #2 @ #1

Empire West #2 @ #1

Excelsior East #2 @ #1

Excelsior West #2 @ #1


The first round at home sights will decide the final seeding for the final round of playoffs to be held at Genesee Community College near Batavia, NY October 26 and 27.

The matches October 26 and 27 will decide the final order of NYS seeds to go through to the Northeast Playoffs.

Seeds will be determined in this manner:

#1 The team with 2 victories
#2 The team with a 1 - 1 record which defeated the #3 team on Saturday OR scored greater net points against #4
#3 The team with a 1 - 1 record which was defeated by #2 in the Saturday game or scored fewer net points against #4.
#4 The team with no victories
