| Each club
participating in the NYS Rugby Collegiate Playoffs
is required to submit a Collegiate
Club Eligibility Form prior to the start of postseason competition.
The Collegiate Club Eligibility Form is to be submitted to the school registrar for completion. PLEASE NOTE: #1a-d, #2 a-c are NOT required - just the form itself is required. Once filled out, the club must mail or fax the form to J.C. Whipple, NYS Rugby Executive Director. It is important to note that forms are to be received by the Executive Director no later than Oct. 20, 2004.
Depending on the availability of the school registrar, this process could take up to one week. If your club is playoff eligible and has the potential to be included in post-season competition, be sure to handle this issue now. On playoff sites, NYS Rugby will be verifying player eligibility with a Photo ID check and match roster form. Collegiate players are required to provide license, passport or school ID. USA Rugby Postseason Guidelines When presented to the college/university registrar by the club, the Collegiate Player Eligibility Form should contain ONLY the following: a. Player names; b. Player signatures authorizing the release of their enrollment information and status; c. Player student ID Numbers; and d. Player USA Rugby CIPP Numbers (ie: USA Rugby membership #). |
