NYSRC Mens All-Star Squad lost to Met NY 29-3 on Saturday November

The NYSRC Mens All-Star Squad lost to Met NY 29-3 on Saturday November
9,2002. After going up 3-0 on a Mark Flemming penalty goal at 3:25
minutes, the New York squad gave an excellent accounting of themselves.

The score at half was 17-3 despite heavy pressure by the Met forwards.
In the second half a promising break begun by Dave Joslin from behind
his posts was continued by Mark Greene and Pat McJury in support. The
movement got to the 5 meter line of Met but couldn't be brought over the
line. All 22 members of the squad saw at least some action in the
match.

Last years returning squad members were agreed that
there was a significant improvement in the team's performance cohesion
and most importantly its competitiveness. The coach's for the Met and
Northeast team also noticed a much better product.
Congratulations to all of the players and staff which includes Head
Coach Gene Adams, assisted by Pat Foran and Bill Kreker and Manager Mike Hodgins.
